While attending university in Illinois, I began to pursue a degree in Photojournalism. In my third year, I had to ask my parents for financial help. My father agreed to help only if I majored in business. I have my BS degree in Statistical Economics. I spent the last 23 years in the corporate area of medical device technology performing mergers & acquisitions for some of the largest players in that space. I have lived in 6 different countries in North America, Europe, and Asia and have gained a broad, global appreciation for the state of healthcare, and also humanity across the globe. Last year, I came across a website called, "When To Jump". It encourages one to follow their passion. I did. I jumped out of the corporate world and I am pursuing my dream of photojournalism with a focus on humanitarian issues and causes. All of my work thus far, as I build my business portfolio, has been pro-bono. I have just started to charge for services feeling pretty good about the quality of the portfolio I've built.
