The ARCC advocates on behalf of the resettled communities of Auckland. We promote a sustainable, integrated resettlement approach that maintains the cultural identities of former refugees and allows them to thrive in their new home country. The ARCC serves resettled communities as a vehicle for finding a united, stronger voice, and sharing it with the resettlement sector and New Zealand society as a whole. The current ARCC members are 20 registered refugee community organisations from 13 different countries including Afghan, Burmese, Congolese, Burundian, Eritrean, Ethiopian, Kurdish, Rwandan, South Sudanese, Sudanese, Ugandan, Sri Lankan, and Palestinian communities.
